The Hellevator
My most recent video mapping project was “The Hellevator”. It was done for the international Minute_Mapp competition.
It was fun to be creating content just for myself and showing it on a platform with other creators.
Find out all about it and get a behind the scenes look in this blog post.
Power Plant Holiday Spectacular
This show was one of the most popular spectaculars for the company; it played to over 40,000 visitors each year. We would swap in new sequences to keep the show fresh year after year. During my tenure, I got to create a new opening, develop some different scenes and even create a custom proposal video based off of a popular commercial at the time.
St John’s Halloween Show
The whole production was a looping seven and a half minutes. The first one and a half minutes was the “show” and then the other 6 minutes had Happy Halloween text with sight gags in the window. The building would slowly grow older and more abandoned before a “glitch” would start the loop over again.
Ocean City Beach Lights Spectacular
Summers down the beach wouldn’t be complete without a giant pyro laser 5-story beach ball with three different shows of themed content. On the ball was always a mix of lasers, 2D and 3D graphics as well as some custom made pop culture graphics just nondescript enough to avoid any copyright infringements. Below you’ll find my 3D Thriller sequence, my run away from boulder man and my angry marshmallow.
