Stadium Designs

I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to design pyro shows in stadiums all over the United States. Whether it was college homecomings or major sports teams ranging from MLS to the NFL, I was programming anthems, win shots and everything in between.

(Left) One of my crowning achievements was designing all of the situationals for Super Bowl 50.

(Below) Various designs from the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Union, Chiefs, and LA Galaxy. I was responsible for the season pyro of over 20 Major Sports teams.

National Holidays

I’ve cut together just about every patriotic song you can imagine for many a Fourth of July. And New Year’s Eve wouldn’t be complete without some explosions starting at midnight.

(Right) This was my capture of the Baltimore’s NYE celebration 2014. The 14-minute double barge show was broadcast on television in its entirety. It featured a mix of 1.4 and 1.3 with shells ranging from 2.5″ to 8″.

(Below) Some of my favorite designs including the Foo Fighters 20th Anniversary Fourth of July Finale from atop RFK stadium.

Stage Shows

I’ve programmed a lot of different pyro shows for small one-offs, plays, music acts, festivals, etc, but one of my favorite projects was getting to work on America’s Got Talent. They had a couple pyro issues the previous weeks, so they flew in an expert (lil ol’ me) to ensure that the finale went off without a hitch. I got to spend the week at Radio City Music Hall making sure that all the wiring, product, and programming was how it should be. It was a bit of a dream come true to be working in live television. I did so well I even got invited to the wrap party at a rooftop bar in NYC.

This video was a reveal test from backstage, but you can check the real finale here.
